//Laphet Yay// is a traditional Burmese milk tea made by blending strong black tea with sweetened condensed milk or evaporated milk. It is a rich and creamy beverage cherished across Myanmar for its unique flavor profile, which balances bitterness from the tea and sweetness from the milk. At shops, the tea is sometimes pulled by pouring it repeatedly between two containers, a technique that aerates the tea and enhances its texture, a practice also common in other Southeast Asian tea cultures.
